Giving

Change lives!

Whether you bring your tithe as a step of obedience or contribute to a ministry as an act of generosity, your money will result in more return here than any other place in the world - a return evident in lives changed.

Your contributions will help spread Christ’s message of hope and healing to so many people and places – around the corner and around the world. From giving a single gift to scheduling an ongoing contribution or viewing your giving history, you can do it here.

Giving Options

Our Savior’s is pleased to offer several convenient giving methods. Consider taking advantage of one of these easy giving options.

Electronic Funds Transfer

Electronic Funds Transfer, which utilizes the Simply Giving program, provides the option for you to have your weekly, bimonthly or monthly offerings deducted from your checking or savings account and deposited directly to Our Savior’s account. Simply Giving allows you to easily manage your giving amount and specify where the funds should be applied. The Authorization Form is available to download and print or you may contact the Church Office at (218) 233-2412.

Bill Pay

Bill Pay is another option available for anyone whose lending institution offers online bill payment options. Just follow the directions for your bank or credit union to create Our Savior’s as a Payee at 610 13th Street North, Moorhead, MN 56560, and choose to make a regular weekly or monthly payment.

Weekend and Wednesday Services

For your convenience, offering envelopes are available for tithing. Simply place cash or checks (payable to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church) loose or in one of these envelopes and put it in the offering plate during any weekend service, or drop it off at either the Welcome Center in the East Narthex or in the church office, and we will apply your gift.

Benevolence – Giving Beyond Ourselves

be•nev•o•lence
  1. desire to do good to others; goodwill; charitableness: to be filled with benevolence toward one's fellow creatures.
  2. an act of kindness; a charitable gift.

Benevolence is a mark of a healthy and outward focused congregation. Our Savior’s is a congregation that desires to show its good will to others. Compassionate service is one of our most important values as a congregation. In addition to giving to others through the weekly offerings of worship and annual budget of the congregation Our Savior’s gathers a monthly mission offering that blesses others.

“We are not simply the final destination in the flow of God’s gifts. Rather, we find ourselves midstream, so to speak. The gifts flow into us, and they flow on from us. From Christ, gifts flow to us, each one of us; from us they flow to those in need.” – Miroslav Volf, Giving and Forgiving in a Culture Stripped of Grace
